Sorry, I had to share this. I watch it about once or twice a week and it always makes me laugh. I heart K80Blog. Also check out the video she made to welcome Oprah to YouTube last year. It’s oozing with sarcasm and quite hysterical. If talking head videos aren’t your thing, you might want to pass. Personally, I find this stuff very entertaining.

I’m really digging the frenetic editing in Madonna’s new music video for her song “Give It 2 Me”. Conceptually, the video is very simple, but the editing helped hold my attention throughout. It’s a perfect complement to Pharell’s energetic and driving production.

Eyes Wide Shut by Dennis Neuschaefer-Rube

Dennis Neuschaefer-Rube’s Stilled Films are individual works, each consisting of thousands of still frames from the movie that gives each piece its title. He has “stilled” nearly every film by Stanley Kubrick, which makes his work just that much better. You really get a feeling for each film’s mood and atmosphere. Pictured here is Eyes Wide Shut, with its golden hued opening scenes and darker sequences throughout the middle.

I pretty much want to make love to this stunning macro photograph by Ryan Rahn. The pinks are spectacular and the shallow depth of field is out of this world. I love abstract shots like this. Just wanna blow them up and hang ‘em on my wall. Don’t miss his exquisite desktop wallpapers as well.

Design Must Seduce, by Harmonie Interieure

I am absolutely, positively in love with this poster by French graphic design couple Fabien and Frédérique Barral. It is one of their new limited edition posters (100 of each will be printed), and I just might need to order one! Check out more of their work at Harmonie Intérieure. And please, if anything, click this image to enlarge.

Jellyfish photo

Flickr has collected some gorgeous jellyfish photography. The jellyfish, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful creatures alive. Their quiet elegance never ceases to impress me. They truly are living art. Featured here is “Dance” by Bright Like Neon.

Manhattan Neighborhoods

I have a feeling that Alexander Cheek’s stunning map of Manhattan’s many neighborhoods has made the rounds on the net before, but this is the first time that I’ve seen it. I’m really enjoying his subtle use of color and typography. Who doesn’t love Gotham?
